BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 10) SYNOPSIS

We got snow, folk! We got snow! Lorelei and Rory are working on a snowman for the snowman making contest. But they don’t stand a chance. There’s like a professional snowman maker there doing his thing.

Roon is back, folks! He’s still working at the inn apparently. We also see Jackson! What an episode. Sooki is busy getting ready for this big dinner for this 17th century festival thing. Jackson is assigned to play the squire. Lorelei gets a call from Christopher. He wants Rory to come stay with him and sherry for a couple days during winter break.

They get bad news - the dinner is off. The group that was coming is snowed in. Since everything is already planned, they decide to just invite everyone in town!

Meanwhile, Dean the Saint breaks up a fight that Jess is having. Jess says I don’t need your help.

This party has everyone from Paris to Richard & Emily. They’re all very confused by Richard is suddenly in a great mood. Everywhere Rory turns, Jess is there just stating staring at her.

Apparently Lorelei hired a million horse and carriage rides for everyone. She ends up taking a ride with a Luke. He tells her that he’s figured out the secret of parenting - lying. Lorelei breaks the news that kids know when you’re lying.

While those two love birds take a ride, Jess hops on a sleigh with Rory. They have flirty fun time and then he’s like I don’t feel like Dean your is your type of guy. Rory is like what do you know?!

It’s dinner time and Richard is the life of the party. And that’s when it comes out - he’s retired. This is news to literally everyone including Emily.

Before bed, Rory asks if she’s heard from her dad. Lorelei is like ummmm maybe? She tells her about the offer and Rory is like why didn’t you tell me? Lorelei is like I get dibs on this time of year with you! And I don’t like thinking about you not being here with me! Rory is like I get it. Let me think about it. Emily shows up to their room, all flustered about Richard’s big news. She ends up leaving to go for a walk and finds Richard in the lobby. They talk and make up.

The next morning, everyone is going to leave. Dean catches Rory & Jess making eyes at each other.

Rory and Lorelei take a sleigh ride home and see that someone destroyed the fancy snowman. Me-thinks it might’ve been Jess.

  • A Castle of Our Own
    Jun 30 2026

It's Tuesday which means there's a new Hallmark movie to review!

ABOUT A CASTLE OF OUR OWN

When an overworked architect takes an unexpected summer trip, a sandcastle contest and a contractor help her reconnect with her daughter, rediscover joy, and find love she never saw coming.

AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR A CASTLE OF OUR OWN

    June 27, 2026 | Hallmark

CAST & CREW OF A CASTLE OF OUR OWN

    Director: Kay Shioma Metchie

    Writer: Nina Weinman

    Cast:

    • Erica Cerra as Marley
    • Brennan Elliott as Adam
    BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS

A dude named Gordo is the GOAT of sand castles. He has been cleaning house at the Vero Beach contest every year, but it's time for him to go home to Cannon Cove and return to his roots. It might be a smaller competition, but it'll just be nice to go home.

Marley is an overworked mom. Her daughter Lily is over it. But it's not just her mom that's a workaholic. Her ex-husband is supposed to take Lily to Cannon Cove for a week, but he has a big work thing come up, so he asks Marley to take a couple of days off until he can get up there. She reluctantly agrees. If I have to spend time with my daughter, I have to spend time with my daughter.

They get to the rental, and the water isn't working, so they have to call a plumber. She can tell that her daughter is distracted by something, but she won't say what.

The plumber shows up, and he's so much hotter than her ex-husband, it's insane. His name is Adam Sullivan, and it turns out he's not a plumber. He's just the neighbor next door who happened to have a toolbox in the bed of his pickup truck.

Lily meets Adam's niece, and they bond over their love of art, and she invites her to hang out with some friends.

Marley decides to sign her and her daughter up for the sandcastle competition. She goes out to practice, and it's harder than she thought it would be. When she sees how good Adam is at building his castle, she asks if he'll help them get ready for the competition. He gives them a lesson, and they come up with a name - Last One Sanding - and also ask Paige to join their team too. For round one, they decide to go bold with the Eiffel Tower because Lily says since my parents keep promising to take me and never do, this might be the only way I see it. It's not going well, so Adam decides to take them to fly a kite.

It's competition time, and they don't quite move on. But they find contraband in one of the other castles, which disqualifies that castle. So they move on!!!!

Adam and Marley keep hanging out more, he keeps convincing her not to pick up her phone, and they end up kissing big times.

She decides she's going to quit her job and go back into residential architecture all thanks to Adam as her inspiration.

It's scary though. There's a lot of financial risk there. Luckily for her, her ex-husband offers to buy a chunk of her ownership in their joint business.

They're building their championship build - the pyramids. Our guy Gordo isn't concerned. BUT HE SHOULD BE! Cuz he loses.

But Last One Sanding doesn't win either. But they do get honorable mention!

Adam and Marley talk and decide it's best if they break things off now since it's clearly not going to work with them not living close.

But with the help of HER EX-HUSBAND, he decides to shoot his shot and move to Seattle to be close to her. They kiss some more!

AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 9)

    November 27, 2001 | The WB

CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 9)
    • Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore
    • Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore
BRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 9) SYNOPSIS

A wedding present shows up for Lorelai and Max. Lorelai is like we gotta send this ice cream maker back to whoever sent it which makes Rory & Sookie sad.

The next day at school, Rory gets stuck with Paris & co on a class project. After class, they see that Tristan is back from suspension.

Lorelai has been attending a business class and a younger student named Paul takes a liking to her and asks her out to dinner.

At school, the group reluctantly lets Tristan be their Romeo.

After failing to find who sent Lorelai the ice cream maker, she tries desperately to get rid of it. Sookie is like maybe you should keep the ice cream maker and work on moving on. Lorelai is like well there is this younger guy that asked me out. Sookie is all about it.

Bad news for Rory, the group is coming to Stars Hollow to rehearse at Miss Patty's. Rory is very nervous because Dean doesn't know about her kiss with Tristan and what if they bump into each other and it's weird. Lorelai is like you should tell Dean. So they role play her telling him and it only freaks Rory out more so Lorelai is like you should definitely not tell him.

Tristan shows up to Stars Hollow early just to harass Dean. Rory shows up just in time to stop Dean from punching him. He's not thrilled that he's going to be Romeo but there's nothing she can do.

Lorelai and Rory meet up later at Luke's. Lorelai tells Rory that the date was casual and fun. And Rory tells her about the Dean Tristan fiasco. But then Dean shows up and says he's off tomorrow and wants to come watch rehearsal. So the next day, she goes to give Tristan a heads up and asks him not to tell Dean about the kiss. He's like ok but he's gonna know when he sees us kiss on stage and see how comfortable we are.

Before rehearsal, Rory and Lorelai are together at Luke's when Paul comes in with his parents. He looks like a child and Rory gives her a hard time.

It's rehearsal time, and Tristan does not keep his word. He looks at Dean and is like this reminds me of our first kiss at a party. Dean assumes he's just messing with them and Rory encourages him to leave.

Luke doesn't let the casual date thing go and it's clearly bothering him. Lorelai confronts him on it and he's like it's fine, just live your life.

It's performance night and Tristan is nowhere to be found. He finally shows up but says his dad is pulling him out of school and sending him to military school. He says he'd kiss her goodbye but her boyfriend is watching.

Paris has to put on a wig and play the part. Afterwards, Lorelai is complaining about Luke to Sookie and she's like he's clearly in love with you.

At the diner, she goes to tell Luke that she doesn't have many people in her life that she can count on. She hopes that Luke is one of those people. He says he is.

    Happy Festive Friday!

    ABOUT MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE

In Nashville, a spirited songwriter and a widowed consultant clash over the fate of a music publishing office. As Christmas nears, rivalry turns to romance in this conflict-filled holiday tale where saving dreams means risking hearts.

CAST & CREW OF MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE
    • Sarah Pribis as Chloe Barlow
    • Brooks Ryan as Devin James
    BRAN’S MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE SYNOPSIS

The movie kicks off with some country Christmas music playing on a Nashville radio station. The town is buzzing because James Robert Webb is getting ready to record a new album, and every songwriter in Nashville is chomping at the bit.

Chloe Barlow is an up-and-coming songwriter, and she's pumped that James Robert Webb has picked her song to be his first single. This is her big break!

    Except... bad news.

They've changed producers, and not only is her song no longer the first single, but it's not even going to be on the album anymore.

    She's devastated.

To take her mind off things, she heads to a children's hospital to sing Christmas songs for some of the patients. There she meets a young girl named Amberlee, who immediately takes a liking to Chloe and her music. Her dad, Devin, on the other hand? He thinks songs are dumb.

But when he sees how much Chloe's music means to Amberlee, he softens and tells her he hopes she'll come back and sing again sometime.

Meanwhile, the music publishing company Chloe works for is struggling and turns to Devin's company for help. When Devin and his team look at the numbers, it seems like the obvious move is to shut the company down. But Devin takes a liking to Chloe and fights to find a way to turn things around instead.

As they spend more time together, Chloe grows closer to Amberlee, helping her write a song, teaching her how to pray away stage fright, and encouraging her to perform at the Christmas talent show.

Devin eventually invites Chloe to participate in a songwriting session with his team as a team-building exercise. To everyone's surprise, they love it.

They're like, "Wait... this is awesome. Maybe this could actually be your thing."

Then, at a Christmas party, the big singer himself drops a bombshell:

"I recorded your song after all."

    Chloe is on cloud nine.

And with all that excitement in the air, she and Devin finally share a kiss.

Fern and Kat go back to her place and she tells Kat that she's pregnant with Cliff's baby. Apparently, they found his hat down there, so we all know what that means. Fern says she wants to jump. Luckily for her, they go back a day. She goes inside to talk to Cliff. She tells him that she's pregnant and tells him to try not to be a hero tonight. Maybe that'll be enough to keep him from going to the mines. Fern then opens up to Kat about her brother, how he time traveled and died. Fern isn't gonna time travel anymore. She's gonna raise her child. Grayson comes over and shows Fern that Lingermore belongs to the Landrys. Fern says burn this deed. The only place the Landrys belong is on this farm. Apparently, Elliot made it through surgery. Jacob says he's going to jump and hopefully show up in the '20s and tell Kat. Kat has started to write the family history, and tries to figure out why Fern knew about Jacob but the lore never passed down to Colton. Alice goes outside to talk to Max and he's like YOU WROTE A SONG FOR ME I KNOW IT! She's like kindly shove off. Nick pops out of nowhere and is like hey maybe stop focusing on the past and focus on what's in front of you. She does not do that. Instead, she jumps again and ends up talking to an old Evelyn in a wheelchair watching old reels. Evelyn is not thrilled. She knows that everyone she knows is a time traveler and kept it from her. But she tells Alice that she lived a full life because of her. She traveled and lived a full life because she knew Alice. Back in the present, KC shows up out of nowhere and is like it's all my fault, I asked Sam to keep stuff from you. But I know how to fix this - they jump together and pop out at the evening of the summer kickoff, 1999. Time travel Colton is coming back to jump back into the pond and sees Del. They have a wonderful heart to heart and slow dance together. 5 more minutes. In the present day, Elliot proposes to Kat and she says yes. Alice snags her guitar and sings. Yay for them. Del comes back and sells the boat to Nick and she and Sam have a bit of a moment and she calls him a rascal. Alice and Max chat and apparently she broke up with her boyfriend. He says I'm proud of you. She says the song is about the type of love she wants and then they end up kissing and she says she thinks the road always leads to him. Nick was watching the whole time. He's like I'm excited to take Claire on this boat. She says will I ever meet Claire? He says maybe one day. Kat and Elliot are hanging out, looking at the clock. And Elliot rattles off a theory about how maybe his mom lives and that's how the clock ended up in the walls. Good enough for me. Jacob is talking to Alice about how he wished he had a good ring. Alice is like well I got this one. KC had it around their neck and they realize that KC must be Jacob & Abby's kid. They get married and ...
