She's been in the real estate industry for over 13 years. She's sold over 500 million in real estate. She's sold over 450 homes and she's been a medallion member for many years now. Again, Chantel Thank you. We're going to jump in more of a fun personal question before we get into the real estate stuff. But what's one thing that not many people would know about you? Chantal Vignola 0:49 Well, I would like to share that I auditioned for Canadian Idol. So back in 2005 I went down to metrotown and had my cute little outfit on and, and, you know, when I went in and did my audition and saying it's a long story, but I made it through a couple of rounds. And so that was fun. But I ended up singing The Little Mermaid on point and it's pretty embarrassing, but yeah, it was. It's a it's a fun story to share. Needless to say, I didn't become the next Canadian Idol but I made it through a few hours. So yeah, Matthew Parker 1:30 you might be doing better with real estate than that. That's okay. That's how it goes a great story. So then what got you into real estate then what how did you get started in the industry? Chantal Vignola 1:51 I both my parents are in commercial real estate. My mom is the VP of sales for shape. She's doing amazing Redwood So I've grown up in real estate and we lived in Yaletown, we were in one of the first buildings in Yaletown quality marinaside Crescent in 1998, before anyone had moved into that hood, and I saw the city develop around me and so I it was always very interesting to me. And, and I kind of just went with it. So growing up in real estate and then being literally raised in the hub of the city brought me in this direction.
