About this listen

Hosted by Krithika Mallar, intimacy coach, embodiment educator, Substack writer, and pleasure educator with three years of expertise across sex toy education, body anatomy, and disability and pleasure, this is the podcast for women who are done being disconnected from their own bodies.

How to want without guilt. How to ask for what you need. How to feel safe enough in your own skin to actually be present. How the nervous system, cultural conditioning, and a lifetime of being told to be easy to be around got between you and your pleasure.

Yes, we talk about orgasms. We talk about sex toys, anatomy, desire, and what it actually takes to feel turned on and understood, in your body, with a partner, and with yourself. We talk about pleasure for every body, including bodies that mainstream conversations about sex consistently leave out. And we do all of it with zero taboo and a lot of warmth.

We also talk about the psychology underneath all of it. Because Krithika has never met a woman with a pleasure problem that wasn't also a self-worth problem. They are the same conversation.

This podcast is for the woman who suspects she has been living at about forty percent capacity. Intimately. Bodily. Emotionally.

She is ready for the rest.

  • Confidence in Your Body = Confidence in Bed
    Mar 23 2026

    EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Your body has been trying to tell you something. The question is whether you’ve been listening.

In the first episode of Kritikal Thots, Krithika unpacks why confidence in your body and confidence in bed are not two separate things, they are the same thing. We get into the science of how your nervous system decides whether pleasure is safe to receive, why cultural conditioning (especially for South Asian women) creates body shame that doesn’t just disappear when you close the bedroom door, and three practical embodiment tools you can start using today.

This is the foundation episode. Everything else builds from here.

    In this episode:

    — Why your nervous system is running the show in every intimate moment

    — Polyvagal Theory and what it actually means for your pleasure

    — The body shame we inherited and why it lives in the body, not just the mind

    — How to start rebuilding your relationship with your body from the inside out
