  • Why Smart, Capable People Fall Apart When All Eyes Are On Them | Victoria Lioznyansky on Public Speaking Fear
    Jun 1 2026

    👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com

    Most people assume public speaking anxiety is a talent problem. Victoria Lioznyansky is living proof that it isn't.

    In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Victoria, founder of Brilliant Speakers Academy and host of the Confidence Within podcast, to talk about one of the most common and least addressed sources of professional anxiety — the fear of being seen when all eyes are on you.

    Victoria's story starts in the former Soviet Union, runs through a humiliating moment on stage at age ten in front of thousands of people, and lands in corporate America where her fear of speaking was quietly derailing her career. As a software engineer turned manager, she was sneaking out of networking events to avoid saying her own name out loud. She tried every piece of standard advice — practice more, fake it, push through — and none of it worked.

    What she eventually figured out, and built into a repeatable system, is now the foundation of Brilliant Speakers Academy, where she has helped hundreds of professionals go from dreading presentations to speaking on stages, getting promoted, and showing up with genuine authority in the moments that matter most.

  • A Guided Meditation for Releasing the Emotions You've Been Carrying Too Long
    May 25 2026

    Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert;
    👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com
    ------------------------------------------------------

    Sometimes the heaviest thing you're carrying doesn't need to be analyzed. It just needs to be released.

    In this episode, Dr. Greg guides listeners through an original beach visualization designed to help you identify, externalize, and let go of the emotional weight you've been holding onto. Through imagery of a quiet sunset beach, you'll be invited to notice what you're carrying — sadness, guilt, shame, anger — pull it out of your body, and release it in a way that's both simple and surprisingly powerful.

    The meditation incorporates a brief forgiveness mantra and a visualization of releasing your emotional burdens into the setting sun, leaving space for something lighter — hope, optimism, and a genuine sense of what's possible next.

    Dr. Greg notes that this practice was inspired in part by the show Bluey, and the core idea is worth holding onto: the emotions that no longer serve you don't have to stay. You can always come back to this beach whenever you need to leave something behind.

  • Tracy Bonham on Creativity, Mindfulness, and Finding Your Voice After Losing Everything
    May 18 2026
    Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com What does it look like when an artist loses their career, their marriage, their record deal, and their sense of self — and rebuilds from the inside out? In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Tracy Bonham, two-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist best known for her iconic 1996 hit Mother Mother. Nearly three decades into her career, Tracy has just released Sky Too Wide, her first album of all original music in a decade — and the conversation that unfolds is as much about inner transformation as it is about music. Tracy opens up about the trifecta of loss that cracked her open in the early 2000s — her mother's cancer diagnosis, her first divorce, being dropped by her record label, and living through September 11th just across the river in Brooklyn Heights. She talks honestly about the depression that followed, the toxic industry relationships that amplified her self doubt, and how the pressure of following up a gold certified debut almost destroyed her ability to create at all. What pulled her through was a gradual turn inward. Qigong, yoga, gratitude practices, present moment awareness — and eventually a way of writing music that came less from labor and more from a place of genuine stillness. The song Damn the Sky, one of the standout tracks from her new album, fell out of her in a single sitting after a rough parenting day with no one around. She didn't change a word. Dr. Greg and Tracy also get into the psychology of self-limiting narratives, the beginner's mind, Byron Katie's The Work, Florence Scovel Shinn, and why mindfulness doesn't require a mountain or a shaved head — just a few minutes and a willingness to pay attention to what's right in front of you.
