The downward spiral continues as the Phoenix Suns turned in one of their most disappointing performances of the season, a 127-107 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. With the loss, Phoenix falls to 42-35 on the season and has now lost two of three games on its four-game Eastern Conference trip.

After scoring 41 points in the opening frame, the Suns managed just 66 points over the final three quarters and their porous defense allowed 127 points on 51.6% field goal shooting. Phoenix was led by 25 points from Jalen Green while Devin Booker scored 22 points but shot 9 of 22 from the field.

Phoenix Suns legend Amar’e Stoudemire is headed to the Basketball Hall of Fame, as he is a reported member of the Class of 2026. Stoudemire, who Phoenix selected ninth overall in the 2002 NBA Draft, spent the first eight seasons of his career in the Valley, making the most of his time with the franchise.

The Phoenix Suns came up short Tuesday, suffering a close 115-111 loss at the hands of the Orlando Magic. The game marked Dillon Brooks’ first appearance in over a month, and he finished the game with nine points on 4-of-13 shooting in 22 minutes. It was also a rough outing for Jalen Green, who saw just 20 minutes of action and scored eight points on 3-of-10 shooting.

As for positives, Devin Booker scored a game-high 34 points, thanks in large part to his 16 makes from the charity stripe. It was not enough to keep up with the Magic’s balanced attack, as four players finished in double figures, led by Desmond Bane’s 21 points. The loss ends Phoenix’s two-game winning streak and it falls to 42-34 on the season. It has a day off before returning to the floor Thursday to face the red-hot Charlotte Hornets.

The Phoenix Suns have officially clinched a winning season, moving to 42-33 on the year with a dominant 131-105 win over the Memphis Grizzlies Monday. Memphis put up a fight but Phoenix used a 40-16 fourth quarter to pull away and take care of business.

Devin Booker led the way with 36 points on 16-of-24 shooting while Jalen Green added 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field. While the Suns were again without five key players, they enjoyed contributions from across the board. None were more important than those of Collin Gillespie, who emerged from a slump to turn in an 11-point, 10-assist double-double.
