  • May 13, 2026: Canucks change scenery with Sedin-ery; RJ the GM
    May 13 2026

The Canucks are inching closer to announcing their management choices but Matt and Blake aren't waiting! The guys get into the news of the twins possibly being the final decision makers, and how that changes the dynamic in the front office going forward. The guys debate whether organizational change can really happen when the hires have already worked for the team, and whether the culture will be different. Also, how does this affect their ability to retain Manny Malhotra as a coach? Bruins reporter Jimmy Murphy of RG media joins the guys to try to figure out the Evan Gold side of the Canucks management story. Jimmy talks about Gold's reputation with the B's and what this close call will mean for his future in Boston. Then it's TSN's Frank Corrado with his reaction to the Canucks management changes and 2 former teammates taking over. Frank talks about the pros and cons of staying in-house for the hires and whether he thinks true change can come from all of this, plus, the effects on the coaching position and Manny Malhotra staying with the Canucks. He also gives us his scouting report as a couple of Canucks prospects are potentially bound for the Memorial Cup. Matt and Blake finish up with the lowdown on the Whitecaps news amidst the high level meetings today and a gameday in Dallas. They look at the BC Lions roster taking shape in Kamloops, and the full baseball update from the Jays, C's and M's!

  • May 12, 2026: Canucks flip flop; RJ the next GM?! Whitecaps summit!
    May 12 2026

The Canucks are getting closer to naming their GM but there's been a change on the leaderboard. Matt and Blake take a look at the apparent change of heart for the Canucks, as Ryan Johnson looks set to be the final decision maker, and how that maybe changes the direction of the franchise. Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects weighs in on what he's hearing around the Canucks front office hire, and if this will alter the speed of the rebuild. Cam also gives us another candidate for the second Canucks 1st rounder, and it has a Vancouver connection. Then it's Global BC's Jay Janower on the Whitecaps' meeting on Wednesday and the who's who of the attendees. Jay talks about what he thinks the future has in store for the franchise, BC Place and Hastings Park. Blake joins Matt again to finish the show and gives his own 2 cents on the Whitecaps meeting and who else could be kicking the tires, plus Thomas Müller could be ready to play tomorrow as the Caps head to Dallas. BC Lions camp continues in Kamloops, the Jays continue to struggle, and so does Mariners slugger Cal Raleigh!
