  • AI Blew My Mind: The Future of Death by Bunjie Part II
    Jun 10 2026

In this episode of Talking with Bunjie, Rich Wilson shares his first real-world experience using artificial intelligence to improve podcast audio—and the results leave him stunned. What began as a simple test to remove road noise from a truck-recorded episode turned into a deeper discussion about the past, present, and future of AI. Rich explores how artificial intelligence fits into creative work, from podcasting and video production to writing books and recording music, while arguing that AI is less a replacement for human creativity and more a powerful new tool. Along the way, he reflects on how technology has always changed the way we create, communicate, and share ideas, and explains why AI will play a major role in the future of Death by Bunjie.

    Jun 3 2026

This episode of Talking with Bunjie takes listeners behind the scenes of both the future of technology and the future of Death by Bunjie. • Scorpyd Calls It Quits!
    May 20 2026

Scorpyd Crossbows just shut down after roughly 17 years in business, and the crossbow world may never be the same. In this episode of Talking with Bunjie, I break down what happened, why Scorpyd mattered, and what their collapse tells us about the future of crossbows. We discuss reverse draw technology, the race for speed, modern crossbow trends, and why “smaller, faster, lighter, denser, cheaper” continues to drive the industry. Was Scorpyd ahead of its time, or did the market simply move on? Let’s talk about it. All Hail Bunjie!

In a Zoom trial run, the host joins Old Grumpy Hunter (Gary) to discuss crossbow hunting, arrow performance, and Gary’s use of the calculators on deathbybunjie.com, while also recapping a frigid Tioga Boar Ranch hunt where Gary took a large hog with his setup. They analyze how arrow weight impacts speed, kinetic energy, momentum, and efficiency—arguing momentum drives penetration—compare Ravin R29X and R26X setups, and preview future hunts and an upcoming interview with engineer Darren Cummings.

  • Buffalo Ethics
    Feb 22 2026

In response to a comment on Bunjie’s Buffalo video, I discuss ethics and why this commenter’s opinion on the topic doesn’t matter to me! LOL In all seriousness, it’s a good topic to discuss, and I hope my explanation clarifies what he might have missed. There’s discussion of my One Gun philosophy here, which I believe is very relevant. All Hail Bunjie!

  • Pigs Fly & Buffalo Have Wings!
    Feb 2 2026

The Fourth Ever Death by Bunjie Meat & Greet is in the books! I am happy to say that in my opinion, and Bunjie’s opinion, it was a success! Twenty-two hunters joined me and Genevieve and The O.B. in the woods of Tioga County, PA. We braved the cold weather—a whopping 1º when we left for the Ranch, and it reached a balmy 15º for a high. Genevieve and I were out there for an hour waiting on a shot, but it paid off. Other hunters struggled through the cold with dead batteries, but we persevered! One such Meat & Greeter was Old Grumpy Hunter, aka Friend of Bunjie Gary. He and I chat about what worked and what didn’t on this outing.
