Summary

The Watchers' Rewatch is a 'Buffy' and 'Angel' retrospective in which we will be revisiting every episode of both shows (with some bonus episodes to cover the wider Buffyverse to boot). Your watchers for this journey are Richard Jago and Tish Watson, who will be covering their love of the shows, discussion of the various characters, the fashion presented in the show (well, at least one of them will be), and how 1997 can't possible be *that* many years ago.

You can support the show on Patreon (patreon.com/TheWatchersRewatch) which includes early access options, discord server, and bonus content.

  • The Watchers' Rewatch episode 31: I Only Have Eyes For You
    May 13 2026
The students and staff of Sunnydale High are reenacting a traumatic past event - because they don't have enough present-day trauma, obvs. Will this deathly cycle repeat ad infinitum? Will Buffy be able to handle her own trauma? Will Xander ever know the love of a woman? You know, in a full body sense?

  • The Watchers' Rewatch episode 30: Killed by Death
    May 6 2026
Buffy is unwell, to the point where she's hospitalised. She then sees something so freaky that it still makes me borderline psychologically unwell - the creepiest-looking monster we've seen so far in the Buffyverse (I know, you'll just have to wait till season 4 episode 'Hush' for *them*). Buffy decides, as she usually does, that violence is probably;y the answer. And as usual, she is correct!

  • The Watchers' Rewatch episode 29: Passion
    Apr 29 2026

In one of the most emotional episodes of the show, Buffy must contend with the culmination of Angelus's sadistic games. Meanwhile, Jenny is working on a way to get herself back in Buffy's, and Giles's, good graces - by restoring Angel's soul once more.

As a bonus, we are joined by Raging Demon of the Kommand List podcast. Check them out for all of your fighting game commentary, as well as chat about how dodgy the physics in the film 'Dead or Alive' are (seriously, *how* do those homing message shuriken things even work?)
