The first project I'm talking about today is Tribe X:

The story starts with humans on the verge of extinction. To survive and finally earn our fair share, The 12 Tribes must unite and give life to Tribe X. Tribe X will be starting with 11,111 female avatars with cool-looking art. The team says: "we've decided to start with women because women are the reason for our existence. Without women, there would be no civilization". I like that. Just a caveat Tribe X is not female-led team but there are females on the team.

A portion of the net mint proceeds will be donated to charity, part will be reinvested into the Tribe X Ecosystem to form The Tribe X DAO, stand up $TRIBEXFIRE utility token and Tribe X Agency. These shall be the pillars of the Tribe X ecosystem for NFT holders. Of course, 3D Avatars and merch are planned too. If you are interested, I'd recommend reading their nicely done Whitepaper - which is more of ideation paper, don't look for too much detail.

Mint date and mint price are both TBD.

The second project I talk about today is Floppy NFT:

Floppy NFT caught my eye on Twitter with its cheeky and fun-looking avatars. I dug into it a bit and apart from cheeky website with floppy running through a roadmap I've found semi-doxxed team i.e. two artists have some real socials and even a webpage and the rest of the team looks like avatars that are just starting.

The roadmap is simple and unimaginative - holders will have a chance to participate in exclusive events such as NFT claims, raffles, community giveaways, character and story development, game and series production. Of course, some metaverse world building, and more...will (maybe) come.

It’s an example of a project you should stay away from until it proves itself. But this is just my opinion. If you like floppy visuals and you don't expect to make money from it, then nothing can stop you.

Mint date is set for Feb 19th and 20th and price shall be 0.07 ETH.

The first project I talk about today is Martian Premier League (MPL):

The lore for MPL goes along the lines of professor Gaffer setting up a new football league on Mars. He’s building a transporter capable of beaming 9000 humans up to Mars. His mission? To build a new football league that would embody the values of the game he used to know and love. You might have guessed that they are building a game.

The upcoming genesis PFP mint art is created by Rupert Gruber (Marvel, Sony, Universal) and will act not only as your character but also as your mint pass to the whole Mars Universe. Holders' first reward will ability to create a genesis player who can operate in the Martian Premier League (separate NFT on L2). This additional NFT will act as the gateway for participation in the Martian Premier League and all the mechanics outlined in their whitepaper. The team has worked for two of the largest franchises on the planet: Harry Potter and Marvel and they are ZenAcademy members, so I have high expectations from this one.

Mint should be on March 2nd so there's time. Definitely check them out:

The second project of today is just minting and is called Women Tribe:

Women Tribe Is female led project which has put enormous efforts into building a community of like-minded and supportive people in the past several months. I've been watching it since their early days and it is remarkable. Project founder Izzy has a very distinctive art style which I like.

The ultimate goal is to help women and all people embrace their inner divinity and power. Some of our long-term highlights to accomplish over the next years include Scholarship & Charity, Epic Events, Community Wallet, Merch...

10.000 Woman Tribe members are programmatically generated from over 900 hand-drawn traits, minting started on Feb 15th and the price is 0.04 ETH.

Today is a little different, I'm not talking about large collections but about two small collections made by individual artists. Mainly because it sometimes feels like individual artists are harder to spot among avalanche of hyped PFP collections.

It's a collection of 1/1 digital editions from Eric Karbeling aka SquigglePapi.eth. Eric is the large murals Honolulu based artist. After an office job he found his style and passion in transforming environments via murrals. His art is colorful and dreamy almost hypnotic imagery.
Eric has not only cool NFTs but also very nice merch shop from his Out of Office Tour. Loving it and seriously considering ordering few pieces.

It si the collaboration collection between Monika and Peter and that's why today you'll hear about three artists today. They are known for a small abstract and colourful collection called "Petronika". This time, with Love is Eternal, they've done a litte bit more melancholic visuals but e.g. I like them more than Petronika. Love is Eternal is a collection of just 20 items minted on Polygon which is great - you'll pay almost no fees.

The project I'm gonna talk about today is called Latino Society:

In the tradition of March as Women History Month, it is the women led project with fully doxxed team. Latino Society wants to - celebrate talent and energy and I also see colorful vibe of the Latino community. Collection will feature 10,000 unique NFTs that transport your PFP to a beautiful destination evocative of our Latino heritage.

I like the slogan: "Join the party, meet amazing people from around the world and be part of the movement of latinos in web3".
Latino society is about access and education. They plan to use proceeds from mint and royalties to fund "Get Access" scholarships to the latino community at large.

They partner with NAS Academy as the global education provider to onboard as many lations as possible as quickly as possible into web3. And of course they want to provide greater visibility for latino creators within web3 and NFT sapce.

One of the interesting features of this community are bilingual educational chats - I think I heard someone say that they might really be the first truly bilingual community in web3. Which is very cool.

One nice point - if you check the website, there's a merch shop tab which is already functional so you can jump in, check it out and maybe support them with your dollar if you like what you see.

The mint date is TBD - but rumors say it will be in April and price is also TBD.

So I'm changing gears a bit and I will talk today only about one project which has public mint coming up today on March 3rd - 90sBabes.

As most of you know, March is Women History Month so I plan to showcase more women led projects and I hope to see a lot more female led projects launching during March. Let's be considered guys and leave March to ladies :)

90s babes is women led and women focused project. It is led by women who grew up in the 90s. It has simple yet powerful mission to onboard more women into the NFTs and web3 spaces through local communities. They also envision that forming a DAO, through which the community will be able to pitch nonprofits and charities that they believe in, to receive our financial support. Of course, there're community wallet, merch store, IRL events and donations on the roadmap.

Team is completely doxxed and super enthusiastic, as I can attest from visiting several Spaces. 90sBabes is the collection of 10.000 NFTs which will mint for 0.07 ETH. Pre-sale finished on March 2 and public mint will start today on March 3.

As you know I did a slight change of format and I am talking only about one project which has public mint coming up soon, so you would have time to check it out and get-in if you decide to go for it.

Today I'm gonna introduce Famalam:

I know, crazy name :) But very cool art. Just go to the website and play with the newsstand - it's awesome!

Their first collection will consist of 6,555 randomly generated NFTs and introduces the first of eight FAMALAM characters called - GOONY. Everything is designed by artist Chris B. Murray and the art is the utility for the start. Important fact is that GOONY holders will be eligible to mint NFTs of the other 7 FAMALAM characters for no additional cost (except gas fees, of course).

There are of course different chapters of FAMALAM story coming together with physical collectibles like toys, prints and clothing, and digital and physical experiences and GOONY unlocks that all. If you want to get the feel what you might expect in terms of physical toys definitely check the wiki link in the notes. You'll see the team has long history of physical toys and merch.

GOONYs will start mint on March 8th for 0.1 ETH.

First I talk about colorful NotSoDead NFT:

It is a project of an artist Laura inspired by Day of the Dead celebrations in hispanic cultures. Great tag lines like Everlasting Beauty, Eternal Bonds, Living Memories actually fit very well into the atmosphere of the website. There will be a total of 10,000 Not So Dead Catrinas created out of 250+ unique traits.

Mint timing was just recently announced -> May18 pre-sale, May 19 public sale and each artwork will cost - 0.05 ETH (or 0.04 ETH on pre-sale). Which means pretty reasonable pricing.

Holders of Not So Dead Catrinas will have a fun & cute piece of art and will be eligible to participate in holder-exclusive giveaways like Hoodies and ETH to some lucky holders when project will reach minting milestones. And of course later will come more contests and priority in future collections.

For the roadmap, I would say, don't expect much more than charity donations. This is one of these projects where you (as a community) will have to figure it out together with the artist after mint-out. Artists are not necessarily the best roadmap writers - nor they should be.
