I was ready for love and had the means to bring it my way, so why not? One little love spell couldn’t hurt me. Only, the man who answered my call into the fates wasn’t the one I was looking for. Don’t get me wrong, the fates seem to know what I like to look at in a man, but that’s it. What’s worse is, I think I may have missed my chance at true love while I was distracted with this loser.

When I caught Ridge staring at me across the room in that busy nightclub, I could feel his desire piercing right through me. He was tall, chiseled, and by far, the hottest guy in the room, but I could feel there was something forbidden and dangerous about him. I was sure we’d be happy together, and also, if I could actually get him to notice me, my mom would finally get off my back about finding someone. I’m not above using my half-witch abilities to turn his head. But my spell doesn’t have the desired effect.
