He endured the battles of New York, White Plains, Kipp’s Bay, Redbank, Valley Forge, the siege of Yorktown, and the surrender of Cornwallis.

Joseph Plumb Martin (1760-1850) was a soldier in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.
