My life got turned upside down when I got an inheritance from the grandmother I never knew existed. Of course, it came with stipulations, one of them being that I attend this rich as hell private school. Not so bad, right? Wrong. I come from the wrong side of the tracks, and I thrive there. Cursing is my only language, I’m covered in tattoos, and the sound of breaking bones is like music to my ears. I’m bored though.

The fae realm is notoriously dangerous—whereas most supernaturals don't get thrown into the more dangerous side of fae life until they're twenty-five, thanks to her tyrant father, Farren's been dealing with it since she was fifteen, brutally trained and punished; she knows her way around a blade. Of course a supposed vacation couldn't stay that way for Ever and the guys. With the arrival of Atlas and the mysteries that seem to grow the longer they're around him, including how he not only knows the new bartender in town but gives him orders of a questionable nature that are followed without hesitation but with a knowing smile. Throw in snow storms, assholes, and a hot tub and this vacation is turning into a rollercoaster ride.

It turns out that I've been to the God Realm before, or at least a part of it, and although we do learn some new things, surprisingly, we already know some of what the Goddess wants to tell us. The Dragon Realm. One of the more dangerous realms, and apparently where we need to go, before we can even begin to prepare, and maybe question Monty about a few things, the Fates decide that things aren't complicated enough and throw us another complication, and an old enemy makes an unwelcome appearance.

I've got some explaining to do, I know that. I mean, I'd have questions if I were in their position, too. The problem is I don't have any answers for them, and I seem to be unable to keep things to myself when I'm around them, which means I, of course, shared, and now they're panicking about how many times I've died. Silly men. It's not like it's a big deal or anything. Oh wait, it is. Then there's Winston and the spirit guides; I don't even know where to start with them.

I can constantly hear them, the voices. It doesn't matter if I'm in a crowded room or the middle of a desert, I hear them, indistinct voices. I can never really work out what they're saying, and I've long given up trying. Everything changes when my life is threatened again, and the voices quiet, one strong voice telling me to run, so of course, I listen.

Ever, her men, and a couple of extra friends are finally starting to unlock the truth of the missing students, but a new lead gives them some shocking news that none of them could've predicted and sends Ever into a tailspin.

Liam revealing one of Ever's biggest secrets should be the only big revelation of the week but now Ever and her men, along with Peter are in a race against time to get to Elena before a threat from her past can. Ever's skills are tested, the bonds with her men grow even stronger, more secrets are revealed, and more allies are made along the way as the repercussions catch up to those who deserve it. Just when Ever and her men feel they've got a well-deserved break, Alaric sends another job their way and something unexpected is revealed to Ever that sends her into a tailspin.

They were my entire world, then everything fell apart. I didn't get to say goodbye, I didn't get to explain to them that my dad had finally gone off the deep end. Of course, they wouldn't have understood anyway—we were only eight and I never told them how bad it had gotten. Maybe if I had I wouldn't be in this fucked up situation.

Our main priority is the bomb strapped to her that's still flashing and armed. I know I said I liked explosives, but it doesn't mean I want to go out...

There's something strange going on at the academy. The longer they're there the more dark and twisted secrets start to be exposed somehow they're at the heart of it. Between the unusual courses, helping Atlas with his jobs and a dangerous mystery that could put all their lives at stake, they still find time for each other and Evers starting to realize that the guys were holding back, now they've said they're all in there's no stopping them. She loves it, but that's not the only thing they've been holding back on.

So many things have been revealed over the past few hours, and I have a feeling there are more revelations to come. Once I've gotten over the huge personal revelation, that I was not even slightly prepared for, we then have to find out who's killing the parents and whether they pose a threat to us as well. More secrets are revealed and more dangers discovered as we find out just how much Silas screwed over the town he was supposed to protect.
