One version of Murphy’s Law says: If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. If you’ve stepped on bubble gum, or if you’ve ever dropped an ice cream cone, you learned Murphy’s Law. Crying over dropped ice cream does not help you. Laughing at your mistakes helps you feel better. Try to learn from your mistakes and be more careful. But being careful does not always work. Understanding Murphy’s Law can be helpful to you and others.

Why do kids need to know about growth mindsets? Scientists have found that there are two different kinds of mindsets: fixed mindsets and growth mindsets. A fixed mindset never changes. In a fixed mindset your failures define you like: "I'm no good at dancing." If I never learn new things or never make new friends, I have a fixed mindset. My growth mindsets can change! When I learn something new or challenging, then I have a growth mindset like: "If I focus and practice, I can learn to dance."

After many years of research and hard work, I finally build a time machine. I jump in the time machine and sets it to go back 66 million years ago. I spin around and around. What will happen next?

The complete rhyme of Mary Had a Little Lamb and it seems to be based upon a real girl by the name of Mary Sawyer (1806 - 1889). She brought a pet lamb to school. An uproar followed. A nephew of the teacher was visiting and wrote a rhyme about the incident. The Redstone School is now in Sudbury, Massachusetts. It is believed to be the schoolhouse mentioned in the nursery rhyme.

Then, Moses went to the top of Mount Sinai and received the 10 commandments from God. Moses went down to the Israelites and called them to hear the 10 commandments of God that they may learn and observe them. The first commandment is: 1. You shall have no other gods before me. What do you think that means?

Sitting Bull was born in 1831 near the Yellowstone River in Montana. He was originally named "Jumping Badger" and nicknamed "Slow" due to his careful nature. Sitting Bull was 14 years old when he went on a raiding party with his father, uncle Four Horns, and Lakota warriors. They took horses from a camp of Crow warriors.

Some historians refer to the United States 2010’s as the “Social Media Decade”. Social media involved the use of interactive devices like cell phones and computers. This media allowed the creation, sharing, and exchange of information using text or images. It was a decade of advances, disasters, and conflicts.
