Zoey Rivers has an unusual job. She's the Chief of Staff at a retirement home, which doesn't sound odd on its own, but when you consider it's a retirement home for witches and other paranormals, the strange factor ratchets up. And, with a facility full of partly senile but still powerful witches, things go hilariously awry fast.

Zoey Rivers has experienced a lot of ups and downs as Chief of Staff at a retirement home for witches. The place is now home to other paranormals, too, such as a djinn, a demon, and a clairvoyant. But the adventures keep coming, and Zoey and her residents and friends find themselves in more strange situations that require investigating.

As the last mermaid in her class with still blond hair, Serina desperately wants her hair to change. She wouldn’t even care if it turned green. If it doesn’t change soon, she will be kicked out of the Academy forever. When Serina goes too far in her efforts to fit in...she finds out who her real friends are and which Mer are out to get her.

Things have been going pretty well at the retirement home for witches and other paranormals lately. Possibly too well. When Steve Grace's friend, Rhea Kaufman, is found dead in her garage right after he dropped his car off to her, he becomes the prime suspect in her murder. Now, Zoey has to get his name cleared. But in the process, she just may learn a thing or two about her fiance that she hadn't known before. Can she figure out who killed Rhea, clear Steve's name, and get on with the wedding plans?

Zoey's been doing everything in her power to keep Sunnyside Retirement Community open for business, but her residents don't help with that a lot. She's had more than her fair share of threatening messages from the bosses, but she's kept the place afloat with sheer will and steel determination. However, that might not be enough. The bosses have arrived in town, and they're out for blood. When the lead boss goes missing, Zoey has to figure out who's behind it, put a stop to it, and keep her retirement community open. Before the doors are closed. For good.

Zoey Rivers has a pretty great job as Head of Staff at Sunnyside Retired Witches Community. She's good at handling the magical messes that are part and parcel of providing a home for elderly (and some slightly senile) witches. But when the messes turn from slightly sloppy to hugely horrible, Zoey realizes there's more involved than just her residents. If she doesn't figure out who's causing havoc at the Home, the place might not be standing for much longer.

It's time for Zoey and Steve to finally tie the knot. But when their wedding planner gets whacked, their plans are totally derailed....

Things are already going sideways for Zoey Rivers. Her mother, recently back from the dead, isn’t responsive, and Zoey’s dad isn’t making matters easier.
