But her sisters—Pretoria, a quick-witted sorceress and thief recently emerged from exile, and Madge, a guild mage to the core—are making offers just as unwelcome as the Guild’s. She can have a new life at the cost of everything she has ever wanted, or prestige and safety in a gilded cage.

With her life and liberty on the line, Ottilie must track down the artefact in a city being torn apart by prejudice and violence. She must choose between the two sides of herself—the fugitive or the Entwined.
