Fae Witch Chronicles

When the fae beckon, few resist. Even fewer return. As a veil witch, I'm used to taking out the supernatural trash. Everything from poltergeists to vampires, you name it and I've dealt with it. So opening a paranormal cleanup business just seemed to make sense. If I'm already dealing with the pests, why not get paid? But when I accidentally breach the faerie realm to encounter a girl recently reported missing, start seeing the ghost of a witch whose disappearance has never been solved, and discover a Book of Shadows that opens only for me, I can't just go back to business as usual.

Getting into Faerie is risky enough. Getting out again may prove impossible. Entering Faerie is enough of a risk, never mind trying to free a changeling. That's never been done before, but that's exactly what has to happen if I'm going to rescue my best friend. So when I run into a half-blood thief who offers to help, I can't exactly say no. I mean, the guy seriously hates the fae. After all, one of them knocked up his mother. Digging deeper into the labyrinthine fae city kingdom, we soon start to unravel a mystery I never could have imagined.

After barely escaping with my life, returning to Faerie is the last thing I want to do. But my mission has grown only stronger now that I've sworn to save more held trapped in that realm. If only I know about their fate, then I'm sure as hell going to save them. Even if it means returning to hell.

The plan was to return from Faerie, let the dust settle, get over it, and move on. So far, only the dust has achieved its goal. But my work is done in that realm, and time spent missing Esras won’t pay my rent. So when a supernatural cleanup job comes my way, it seems like just the distraction I need. Especially if, by distraction, I mean all hell breaking loose.

There I was thinking saving Faerie had been challenging. Compared to what I'm up against now, fighting with the rebels to topple the Seelie regime seems like a walk in the park. With my sister's life on the line for a magical crime she didn't commit, the clock is ticking loud and fast for me to save her. To clear her name, I need to unravel a mystery with so many knots that I'm not even sure where to start pulling.

They say desperate times call for desperate measures, but I doubt they meant anything as risky as what I have planned. But things have gone from bad to worse to downright abysmal. Bethany and the other witches remain captured, and all signs point to them running out of time. Meanwhile, everyone’s favorite high mage is on the loose and working with his new high demon sidekick. Their objective? That’s the problem. I’m still not quite sure. Although, it’s a safe bet that part of their plan involves subjugation of the human race.
