With mere weeks to pull things together, and his own life in disarray, he’s a fish out of water. Debbie Abrams, recent high school graduate and history buff, is staying in Glenwood with her grandparents for the summer. Overhearing that there are plans for a big Independence Day celebration, she volunteers to help.
