Heart of Dorkness Summary

When an accident claims the lives of two young women, one is chosen to become a hero, a saviour, and a servant of the God of Heroes.

The other, Valeria, is carried along by her friend's soul into a new world, where her wandering spirit is claimed by the Goddess of Darkness.

While one is destined for glory, Valeria, who was never meant to be there at all, is remade into the servant of a terrifying divine power and given a grim purpose: to help usher in a new age of despair and disgust.

Unfortunately for fate, Valeria is terrible at being evil.

Though she does her best to serve and please her adoptive mother, the Dark Goddess Luciana, Valeria is too awkward, too earnest, and far too much of a dork to become the dread harbinger of doom she was meant to be.
