Search and Rescue Cozy Mystery

Evelyn Foster has just moved to Granite, Michigan, and at first, the town is just as she expected it to be. Small. Insular. Quiet. On the upside, she gets to spend every day working with her best friend, one of the customers at the local coffee shop was definitely flirting with her, and her two German Shepherds seem to enjoy their new rental house and its fenced back yard.

It’s amateur sleuth Eve Foster’s birthday, and her best friend Tiana has planned a surprise party for her at Lake of Pints, the only bar in her new hometown of Granite, Michigan. A good time is had by all…until someone slips her a note asking for help. Distracted by the festivities, Eve doesn’t read the note until morning, and by then, it’s too late. A young man has been murdered, and his brother is missing somewhere in the state forest that surrounds the town.

It’s the end of summer, and that means just one thing in amateur sleuth Evelyn Foster’s newly adopted hometown of Granite, Michigan...it’s time for the annual Rock Festival. This particular festival is literally about rocks, not music. Eve and her dogs adjust to the influx of tourists into the normally quiet town, and she and her friends have a great time together at the festival, but in the midst of fun and chaos, something goes terribly wrong.

Evelyn Foster is finally confident that Atlas is ready to pass the rigorous tests to become a fully certified cadaver dog.

Because she owns a cadaver dog, Evelyn Foster knows firsthand that there are valid reasons for the authorized use of human body parts.

Amateur sleuth, Eve Foster, has been keeping a secret from her best friend, and it’s almost time for that secret to come out into the open. Levi, Tiana’s long-term boyfriend, is planning a proposal, and has asked Eve to help him set up the perfect evening. Since Tiana wants a public proposal, they make reservations at a nice restaurant and bring the staff in on the plan.

Proud dog owner and amateur sleuth, Eve, is delighted when she discovers that her friend Aidan is making plans to move into his new apartment…which is right across the street from the dental clinic where she works. She offers to help with the move, and the two spend a pleasant day together…until Aidan decides to search for his new landlord, who had been ignoring his calls all day. Unfortunately, they discover the landlord’s body in the back of the antique store, downstairs from Aidan’s new place.

Eve is bubbling over with happiness all evening…until they decide to look for Aidan’s work friend, Hector, who said he was going to grab something from his employee locker…an hour earlier. When they discover that Hector has met a tragic end, Eve is positive that the culprit is someone who is attending the party.

After spending Christmas with her adoptive mother, dog-mom and amateur sleuth, Eve, is glad to be back home in Granite. She’s ready to get back to her normal life and is committed to following her New Year’s resolutions. Unfortunately the best of her intentions go out the window when a blizzard causes a power outage for the whole town.

With the holidays over and the town recovered from the power outage, dog-mom and amateur sleuth, Eve, is determined to eke out whatever enjoyment she can from the cold weather; hot coffee, hiking in the snow with her dogs… and ice-skating dates with Aidan. Their budding relationship seems to be going well, but when they discover a body in a pond on Sophia’s property, they put romance on the back burner to solve the crime.

Spring has sprung, and the first nice weather of the year send campers and hikers out into the woods in droves. One unlucky hiker reported that they saw a body, but that they couldn’t remember the exact location. When amateur sleuth and dog trainer, Eve, and her bold, brave cadaver dog Atlas go out to recover it, there’s no body, but it’s clear something was afoot. After receiving a report of suspicious activity on the small lake at night, Atlas and Eve stretch their abilities to conduct a water search.

When the dental clinic where amateur sleuth and dog trainer, Eve, works is set on fire, and someone far too close to home perishes in the flames, Eve is distraught. Something doesn’t seem quite right, and she’s determined to find out whether the death, which has been ruled an accident, was actually an accident. In a case where the stakes are high and the situation highly personal, Eve follows her instincts in an attempt to get to the truth. She discovers that murder is afoot and is faced with trying to figure out what happened and why.

Search and Rescue dog owner and amateur sleuth, Eve, has been tasked with helping to plan and prepare for the Michigan Mutts Search and Aid Spring Meeting. To say that she’s busy would be more than an understatement, but when her day-job boss asks her to help out an elderly friend who’s convince that something scary and dangerous is afoot, Eve makes time for it. In her mind, it won’t take long to meet up with the elderly woman and take Atlas, her cadaver dog, through the woman’s house, just to do a good deed and ease the woman’s worries.

Amateur sleuth and dog trainer, Eve, is delighted to take some time off and go on a camping trip to secluded part of Lake Superior’s coastline. The trip that’s supposed to be a relaxing and fun adventure takes a dark turn when Eve’s Search and Rescue dog, Atlas, discovers a body on the beach. And that’s not the only surprise that they find.

Amateur sleuth and rescue dog trainer, Eve, is joyfully busy. Her best friend is getting married and, as maid of honor, Eve pours her heart and soul into making sure Tiana’s special day goes off without a hitch. Just when it looks like everything is going to be a success, one of the wedding guests goes missing in the woods surrounding the venue. While trying to track down the missing guest, Eve stumbles across a murder scene. And the victim is another guest.
