I love listening to the audiobook version after I have read the book months before. It refreshes your mind of the finer parts of the story, funny, gory and sad. JD Kirk at his best as always.

Finding DCI Logan is like Christmas. Brilliant, gritty writing. Been looking for this for ages. I've read so much and don't know why I passed this by. No more! Delicious darkness, The enigmatic, abrasive Logan with a cast of full bodied characters - all with their own charms. The detailed storylines are complex and race along with the perfect balance of procedure and personal life. I'm loving the series and already on to the next one. Angus King's narrative needs it's own mention and I couldn't imagine these great plots without it.

Another one in the DCI Logan series. A series of murders needs sorting. The plot is well constructed and some tragic events make this an absorbing tale. Centred more on the story than Jack there are a few hints of troubles ahead.
