This is the first book in the Moonlit Ridge Series, a Romantic Suspense. This is a great start to the series. Wow! I loved it! River and Charleigh's story is beautifully written, intriguing, and captivating, filled with secrets, danger, suspense, and twists and turns. River, a single dad, is enigmatic, handsome, and protective. Charleigh is beautiful, strong, smart, resilient, and determined. Her past is heart wrenching. Nolan is an adorable kid. This story is enthralling! Andi Arndt and Austin Stone did an outstanding job bringing these characters, and this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Under an Endless Moon, the next book in the series.

River is a man with a huge heart who is devoted to his son Nolan and his sister Raven. He does not allow many people close but for those he does his love and loyalty is unwavering. When he meets Charleigh, he knows that she is a kindred soul and once she comes into his life he can’t imagine a future without her despite the complications it brings.

After everything that Charleigh has been through all she wants to do is survive. She constantly fears that the threats of her past are going to resurface however River makes her feel safe for the first time in a long time. She soon becomes an important part of his family, but life is about to throw them a couple of twists that neither saw coming.

This book was everything you could want and more between the friendship she developed with Raven, Nolan was too adorable for words and the way that River welcomed her into his life and made it his mission to protect her despite the consequences. The choice of the narrators only made this story better as they brought out the humor, the heart wrenching emotion, and the heat.

What an incredible story by A.L.Jackson.
Absolutely Amazing in fact I didn't want it to end and listening to Andi Ardnt and Austin Stone bring this book to life is perfection.
I have never listened to Austin Stone before and WOWSERS I will certainly be listening to more of his narrations,his voice took my breath away and was ideal for Rivers character...Andi Ardnt what can I say about this exceptionally talented woman,her performances are always award winning and I always enjoy everything she is involved in.
This is the first book in a brand new series by A.L Jackson and is River and Charleigh/Charlotte's romance and it is a story you will not want to end..I am already eager to listen to the next book..
River OMG River he is just the ideal man I cannot fault anything about this man......and to top it all off he is a single dad..Yes thats right you can hear ovaries exploding everywhere.!!
His son Nolan is the cutest wing man and I loved the relationship he develops with Charleigh.
Charleigh is running from her past and ends up in Moonlit ridge,she has been through so much and appears shy and timid,but there is a strength about her and she is a wonderful character.
...As soon as Charleigh walks into River's tattoo parlour there is a connection between them and they have so much chemistry.
But of course they both have secrets and pasts that could ruin everything,Charleigh is so guarded and any sign of danger she wants to run...But River won't allow her to run and helps her through her doubts.River is so protective and would go to any lengths to keep those he loves safe.
This story has so many feels and is highly emotional having the angst that only A.L Jackson can bring.
From Her To Eternity is such an addictive listen the suspense,emotions,steam and heartwrenching moments..there is also some light moments too...and a twist that is unexpected.
Nothing A.L Jackson writes is less than 11 out of 10 she always writes these beautiful stories that are written flawlessly...With characters that are so easily to fall in love with.
This is a brilliant start to this series and I cannot wait for more...And I highly recommend the Audiobook it is performed to perfection with all the passion and emotion needed.

Another amazing audiobook from AL Jackson! The suspense keeps me hooked every time, the twists and turns throughout the book kept me not wanting listening and continue everyday life. Charleigh and River’s souls recognise their match when they first see each other. Chance encounters around town bring them closer until one day River and Charleigh’s secrets clash. Charleigh is a fighter, having gone through unbelievable pain, she seeks solitude and peace; River is a warrior, bringing peace through chaos.
Andi Arndt and Austin Stone deliver this powerful and emotional story that kept me gripped to their every single word.

A.L. Jackson continues to amaze me with another fantastic novel, a small town romantic suspense that is captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. This first book of her “Moonlit Ridge” series is Charleigh and River’s story, it also introduces us to side/support characters who are River’s found family, I loved the complexity and depth of all the characters and am looking forward to learning more about them in books of their own. Charleigh comes into River’s tattoo shop looking for a tattoo, normally he does not take walk-ins, actually he is booked well into the future, but the person in his chair, his friend, ended their session, leaving River free and feeling compelled he took her as a client. There was something about her that drew her to him, and when he saw the tattoo she wanted, it was one that resonated with him. He also sensed she was running from something or someone. Charleigh does not want to get involved with anyone or bring her into her messed up and dangerous world, but she felt safe with River and River was not about to give up on her. I loved how everything played out in this multilayered story, a story that has the perfect balance of drama, angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Like all A.L. Jackson books, the writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. Thank you for another outstanding story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Andi Arndt and Austin Stone deliver an amazing performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them while giving each a voice that was fitting. I loved how they took their roles and made them their own sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound, both showcasing all aspects of their characters’ personality.with Arndt nailing it as Charleigh, from her insecurities to her fierceness, and Stone doing the same as River, a take charge over protective alpha with a caring heart. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a great narration team, with talent and voices that complemented each other and a performance that elevates the already amazing story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for another exceptional listen.
