About this listen

The year is 1969, and 10 guests are about to enjoy a weekend at Tavistock Hall. The guests also include detectives Arthur Bryant and John May - undercover, in disguise and tasked with protecting Monty Hatton-Jones, a whistle-blower turning Queen’s evidence in a massive bribery trial.

The house’s owner - a penniless, dope-smoking aristocrat - is intent on selling the estate to a secretive millionaire, but the weekend has only just started when the millionaire goes missing, and murder is on the cards....

The narrator brings a fabulous story to new levels,, possibly the best combination on audible, Bryant, May, Fowler, Goodman. First class, complete hokum but such fun

As per normal absolutely fantastic this series is getting better and better but without Tim Goodman The audible version I think would not be as good he brings Bryant and May to life Five Stars not enough

I have read / listened to several Bryant and May stories , but this one surpasses all the rest. I always love the factual explanations combine this with some wonderful descriptions and a great deal of humour and you have a perfect murder mystery story.

Absolutely brilliant

Love to listen to a Bryant and May tale
every now and then. Good mystery, plot builds well, quirky but well written characters and a lot of quiet humour. loved the 60's song title chapter headings.

Fun Romp
