Is Sofia chasing her past, or is her past chasing her?

Follow Sofia as she grows and tries to use her newfound strength to escape from the clutches of the mysterious God who set her on her path.

She will meet more people, discover more about the strange world she lives in, cause more catastrophic explosion, and, most importantly, cherish the new skeletons she meets along the way.

The book is overall alright but the level of power is all over the place. At one point, in book one, we are told that the breakpoints are very very important and punching up gets more and more suicidal, the further breakpoint you fight. Lvl 99 fighting 149 is supposed to be hard but doable, lvl 199 fighting 250 is close to suicide and 249 fighting 300 is close to impossible, then the MC demolished lvl 299 as lvl 199 which according to this logic, is like fighting a god with pebbles

Inconsistent power level

Even better than book 1. This book is more of what made book 1 great, but also more refined and consistant. I think in general it just has better writing, while still keeping what I loved about book 1.

Very good follow up!

damnit, what a time for there to be no book 3 as of yet, this installment was just as good as the previous, I think the trials were kinda of long but i didn't skip them, the cliff ish hanger ending tho was what did it for me. I hope more will come of this serious on Audible.

That ending!!

Explosive growth in an explosive book. Not as many twists like book 1, but solid growth. The loss of Alith as a companion hurts the story telling in the early section of the book: monologues get extremely dull, but Pareth is a silent gem in this. Looking forward to the next book!

Spooky scary skeletons are the best
