  • Seahawks 2026 Schedule: Primetime Gauntlet, NFC East Run and Super Bowl Practice
    May 15 2026

The 2026 NFL Schedule was released on Thursday and we're taking a week-to-week look at the Seattle Seahawks opponents this year. Can the Seahawks get out to a fast start on their road to back-to-back titles? The season kicks off against the New England Patriots in a rematch of the Super Bowl before heading out on early road trips to Arizona and Washington. They have a stretch of prime time matchups against the Denver Broncos (Thursday), Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday), and Chicago Bears (Monday). Later in the season, we discuss three straight matchups against NFC East opponents before closing out with two of the final three games against the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks and Rams are the only two division rivals in the entire league who face each other twice in the final weeks of the season. We get into the pros and cons of leaving those games for the end of the season.

  • Seahawks Repeat: Ways They're Stronger and Where They Fall Short
    May 13 2026

As the Seahawks look to repeat this year, there are areas where they could slip after a championship season and reasons why they might still be even more dominant. Potential downside comes from opponents adjusting to Mike Macdonald's nickel-heavy run defense, statistical regression if Jaxon Smith-Njigba can't repeat his production, uncertainty around first-time play caller Brian Fleury, and possible special-teams regression. The optimism centers on expanded offensive weapons (A.J. Barner, Tory Horton, Rashid Shaheed), a chance for the offensive line to jump from average to top-10 with continuity, and defensive growth as Nick Emmanwori and Byron Murphy elevate alongside other core leaders. Finally, we recognize Mike Macdonald could still continue to grow and build the defense beyond what we saw last season.

  • Seahawks Sign Dante Fowler, 'Hot Take Court' Debuts
    May 6 2026
The Seahawks have signed Dante Fowler Jr. to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million. We talk about the fit, value and expectations for a veteran replacement for Boye Mafe after the team avoided drafting the position. How does he stack up to some of the other veterans Mike Macdonald has maximized during his time in Seattle and with Baltimore, and we define "success" as steady rotational snaps with modest sack production. We take a look at some recent news stories with Rams pass rusher Jared Verse story praising Seattle's offensive line cohesion, and review an SB Nation item quoting ex-Seahawks executive Scot McCloughan projecting rookie RB Jadarian Price over Jeremiah Love. A new segment, "Hot Take Court," digs into an online claim that Price can't catch.
