    The Golden Knights dominated early, scoring three first-period goals on their way to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 at Honda Center. Pavel Dorofeyev led the charge with two third-period goals, while Mitch Marner and Shea Theodore each added a goal and an assist. With the series-clinching win, Vegas advances to the Western Conference Final for the fourth time in seven seasons, where they’ll face the Colorado Avalanche.

    Meanwhile in the East, the Montreal Canadiens took control of their second-round series with a high-scoring 6-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center. Nick Suzuki starred with a goal and two assists as Montreal grabbed a 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 at the Bell Centre.

After falling behind 3-0 in the first period, the Avalanche stormed back in dramatic fashion, with Nathan MacKinnon calling it the greatest comeback he’s ever been part of. Colorado now advances to the Western Conference Final and awaits the winner of the Vegas Golden Knights–Anaheim Ducks series.

    Toronto Maple Leafs GM John Chayka meets with the media after announcing Wednesday morning that head coach Craig Berube has been fired, raising major questions about the franchise’s direction moving forward.

The Avalanche can close it out Wednesday night in Denver at Ball Arena.

  • Habs Dominate in Game 3 & Ducks Tie Up the Series

    Alex Newhook scored twice for the second straight game as the Montreal Canadiens rallied with four unanswered goals to defeat the Buffalo Sabres 6-2 in Game 3. Cole Caufield added a goal and an assist, Lane Hutson and Jake Evans each recorded two assists, and Jakub Dobes made 26 saves in the win. Out West, Cutter Gauthier tallied three assists to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4. Beckett Sennecke and Alex Killorn each posted a goal and an assist, while Mikael Granlund and Ian Moore also scored. Lukas Dostal stopped 18 shots for Anaheim.

    Meanwhile on the weekend, Jackson Blake scored in overtime as the Carolina Hurricanes completed a sweep of the Philadelphia Flyers with a 3-2 win in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series. In the other Western Conference matchup, Kirill Kaprizov recorded a goal and two assists to power the Minnesota Wild past the Colorado Avalanche 5-1 in Game 3.

    The Buffalo Sabres grabbed a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Second Round with a 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens at KeyBank Center. Josh Doan and Ryan McLeod each recorded a goal and an assist, Zach Benson added two assists, and Alex Lyon stopped 26 shots as Buffalo continued its breakout playoff run.

    Out West, the Anaheim Ducks evened their second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights with a 3-1 victory in Game 2. Beckett Sennecke, Leo Carlsson, and Jansen Harkins scored for Anaheim, while Lukas Dostal turned aside 21 shots in a strong performance between the pipes.

  • Maple Leafs Win Draft Lottery & Avalanche Take a 2-0 Series Lead

    The Toronto Maple Leafs landed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft after winning the Draft Lottery. The San Jose Sharks secured the No. 2 pick, while the Vancouver Canucks will select third overall. Despite entering the lottery with just an 8.5 percent chance — the fifth-best odds — Toronto moved up to claim the top spot for the third time in franchise history. The Maple Leafs previously selected Auston Matthews first overall in 2016 and Wendel Clark in 1985. The Colorado Avalanche win 5-2 over the Minnesota Wild in Game 2 of the Western Conference Second Round. Nathan MacKinnon led the way with a goal and two assists, while Martin Necas and Gabriel Landeskog each added a goal and an assist. Scott Wedgewood stopped 29 shots as Colorado, the top seed in the Central Division and Western Conference, extended its series lead to 2-0.
