Und deshalb hält Cat sich von allem fern, was auch nur entfernt mit Politik zu tun hat. Egal, ob es um grausame Adlige aus dem mächtigen Norden geht oder um einfache Rebellen, die im magiearmen Süden gerade den Adel entthront haben. Dummerweise braucht der Anführer dieser Rebellen nun Cats Hilfe, um seine Macht zu sichern. Und er holt sie sich, ob Cat will oder nicht.
