I put off this book for months because its synopsis didn't immediately grab me. I just saw a lengthy fantasy novel and figured it had to be value for money, more than anything else.
Anyway, I started listening to it less than one month ago and I've already devoured both this and its sequel. I can't recommend this enough. Its written brilliantly, and the narrator is also a fantastic addition to the book.

This book is amazing!
The characters are so well written you can see them walking out of the book.
I’ve had The Wandering Inn on repeat at work since I got it, it’s still as good as the first time I listened to it.
The author is brilliant all praise to
Pirateaba. Your books are amazing, I’ve read up to 7.26. & I’m hope full that audible will shift up a gear & get volumes 3-7 ready to listen to.
Nightshifts fly by when I listen to
Innkeeper Solstice & the crew.
The narrator has a marvellous range of voices & the characters are brought to life so well you laugh & cry with them.
I’m so looking forward to hearing what the new characters will sound like.

I can't get over how much I love this audiobook. I didn't want it to end. I'm not a huge LitRPG fan but thought I'd give this a try. I LOVED it! The narrator is fantastic and really brought the story to life. I admit that I cried several times listening to this - luckily at home not at work where I usually listen to audiobooks! You get swept along by the narrator, and it's been a while since I felt like that. I know the next audiobook isn't out until late next year so I kept trying to put off listening to make it last longer.
I loved every character and have bought book two on Kindle to tide me over. I can't wait to see how the story progresses

this was an excellent book to listen to, the quality of the narration and the portrayal of the characters was a dream to listen to. I became fully submerged and and invested in both the story and the characters. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

This is a wonderful story, very well written. I couldn't help but grow to love all the characters, rooting for their success, giggled at their silly antics, wept for their losses. Erin's conversations with Pisces made me laugh out loud and I couldn't get enough of her way of talking to herself.
I am buying the Second book asap.
The narrator was the perfect choice, fantastic delivery.
