Is anxiety a persistent struggle for you? Do you feel constantly triggered, even when nothing is causing it? Do you love God, but question if that is enough to stop the panic attacks?

You are in the right place! This podcast is designed to help women like you find freedom from anxiety through faith-based solutions, real conversations with real women, and step-by-step anxiety strategies.

Hi, I’m Ashanti, founder and host of the Get Free From Anxiety podcast. For years, I suffered from major postpartum anxiety, that ultimately became chronic anxiety. I would open my eyes to a racing heart, avoid eating any foods that triggered stomach problems, and had panic attacks multiple times a day. I tried everything from breathing techniques, to exercise, even meditation! But nothing I did gave me the freedom that I was searching for. Then, one day while googling medications for anxiety, I remembered something: God never meant for me to live like this! From that moment on, I knew that if I wanted to be free, I needed to partner with Him, revive my faith, and start renewing my mind.

God showed me His plan for peace, and I’ve been living in it ever since. Now, I’m sharing it with you.

  • #118 | I Love God, So Why Am I Still Anxious? 3 Mistakes Most Christians Are Making
    Apr 9 2026

I know what it's like to love God deeply and still wake up anxious. If you've ever wondered why your faith doesn't seem to be "enough" to make the anxiety stop, I want you to know there is nothing wrong with you.

In this episode, I'm opening up about three common mistakes I see Christians making when it comes to anxiety, mistakes I made myself for years. I was preaching sermons and coming home to panic attacks, asking God why He wouldn't just take this from me. I'm sharing what I learned, the perspective shift that changed everything, and how you can start walking in freedom too!

    Scriptures Referenced: (study these, sis!)

    • John 16:33
    • Hebrews 11 (Faith Without Works)
    • Mark 11:26
    • Romans 12:2

Hey sis, I know what it's like to feel like you can't stop. Between the house, the kids, the job, the mental load of keeping everyone happy.. who has time to rest? I lived in that cycle for years, and honestly? I was the one keeping myself stuck in it.

In this episode, I get really honest about a conversation my husband and I had that completely shifted the way I see rest and the guilt that comes with it. I also share three practical, faith-backed tips that helped me stop arguing with God about taking a break and actually start doing it!

If you've been running on empty and feel guilty every time you even think about slowing down, this one is for you. Don't Forget!

  • #117 | Why Does Anxiety Feel Like Part of Me Now? The Reason Why and How to Be Free From It
    Apr 7 2026

Do you know what it's like when anxiety persists to the point where you start to wonder if this is just how it is? Am I always going to be anxious? The world seems to think anxiety is trending, and have made it seem like a cool, personality trait. But God says to "Be anxious for nothing," (Phil 4:6) which means He never meant for it to be part of our identity. So how do we free ourselves from this? How can we start to live without it?

Well, today, I'll walk you through three boundaries you can put in place to cut off anxiety's access to your life, rooted in what God says about guarding your heart (Proverbs 4:20-23) and the power of hearing His Word (Romans 10:17).

This isn't another "just pray about it" message. This is going to give you real steps to get your peace back in real time.

And if you want to go deeper, join my free online workshop! April 30th is only a few weeks away so make sure you register today.
